Honorariums A way to Honor and Encourage Caregivers
The primary purpose of hospice is to make the end-of-life experience less difficult for both patients and their families. For Community Homecare and Hospice caregivers, it is truly a labor of love to provide for the medical, emotional, spiritual and educational needs during this most difficult of times.
A charitable donation to the foundation is a way to help others in need while honoring those caregivers that have helped you and your family.
Whether your gift is in honor of someone or in recognition of a special occasion, such as a birthday, graduation, or anniversary, it will always be remembered and cherished. An honorarium announcement and note of thanks will be sent, excluding the amount of the gift, to the person you wish to honor.
Memorial Gifts
The loss of a loved one creates an emptiness that can never be entirely filled. A memorial tribute is a special way to honor this memory. Your gift can help continue the loving legacy of your departed family member or friend by giving back to those who desperately need your help and support now.
Other Giving Opportunities
There are many ways to give to our foundation, and with your help, we can make a significant impact on the lives of individuals with life limiting conditions.
- Annual Giving – Gifts made on an annual basis
- Pledge – Gifts pledged over period of up to five years
- Commemorative Giving – Gifts to honor or remember a special person or occasion. The Foundation staff sends acknowledgements to the person, family or organization being recognized or remembered.
- Appreciated Securities – A gift of highly appreciated securities
- Major Giving – Gifts of $5,000 and above
Planned Giving – Financial or estate plan through bequests, life income trust, life insurance policies, gift annuities, cash, securities, personal property, or real estate.
