People often ask why 
The Community Hospice Foundation was created. 

Shortly after we lost our first patient, an unexpected check arrived in the mail from the family. A note accompanying the check let us know that the check was intended to be a gift, a way of thanking the caregivers of Community Homecare and Hospice for their tender care and loving spirit.

Of course, we were honored and we felt strongly that the best use of this gift would be to serve those families who are suffering financial as well as emotional stress during a very difficult time.

Community Hospice Foundation is a nonprofit 501 (c) 3 organization.  The Foundation is staffed by professionals and is governed by a volunteer board of trustees, who establish yearly funding priorities and long-term strategic goals for growth. The foundation supports and contributes throughout North Carolina.
